Mississippi Precious Metals Tax Information

As of July 1, 2023, Mississippi has enacted a sales tax exemption for the sale of coins, currency, and bullion. This means there is no longer a state sales tax on precious metals in Mississippi.

However, it's important to note that this exemption applies to the state sales tax. Investors may still be subject to federal taxes on capital gains from the sale of these assets.
